Mrs. Colleen Guanciale
Mrs. Colleen Guanciale has twenty-one years of teaching experience at St. Joseph School as the Physical Education Instructor. She graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Teaching from Slippery Rock State University, in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania in 1980. She is certified to teach health and physical education for grades kindergarten through twelve. Mrs. Guanciale is also an ACE certified personal trainer. Along with being awarded a number of athletic awards in high school at Ford City, PA for her participation on the basketball team, including being voted team captain and most valuable player, Mrs. Guanciale was awarded an athletic leadership scholarship to Slippery Rock for her participation on the Judo Team. She achieved a second place finish in College Nationals and competed in the World Games in the 123 lb. weight division. During her teaching career, Mrs. Guanciale has coached gymnastics, cheerleading, volleyball and basketball. Her players and teams have won numerous district and state titles and championships.
