As we continue to prepare our students for the challenges of high school and beyond; we created an ambitious technology initiative that will pair every student in grades K-8 with a chromebook and access to hundreds of educational tools. Raising funding for this two-year initiative began with last year's Blue & Gold Gala, which raised $30,000 - nearly half of the funds needed for the initiative. So far, students in grades 6,7,8 have been outfitted with their own chromebooks and grades 3,4, 5 now have chromebook stations in their classrooms. It is our goal to raise $35,000 at this year’s Blue & Gold: A Night at the Oscars 2018 to complete this ambitious technology initiative. We can do it with your help!
Since 1995, our annual Blue & Gold has been successful at providing funds for various educational enhancements for our school, including a computer lab, science lab and now this critical internet connectivity project using Chromebooks and Google Suite for Education.
So when you purchase tickets for this event not only can we guarantee you a night out for food, fellowship, & fun; but also the satisfaction of knowing you have supported every student of this school in being amply prepared for their higher education and beyond.
