As we continue to prepare our students for the challenges of high school and beyond; we continue to upgrade our technology infrastructure. Over the past two years our Blue & Gold Gala completely funded St. Joseph Parish School's Chromebook initiative by raising more than $66,000! Beginning with the 2019-20 school year, every student in grades 5-8 will have a Chromebook and lower grades will have access to Chromebook carts throughout the school day!

As these Chromebooks have been incorporated, we find a need to upgrade some of our infrastructure as well as find new technologies to enhance education further. Technologies like a virtual gym that combines physical activities with learning math and English to Clevertouch boards that replace Smartboards and are interactive with Chromebooks to 3D computers & printers. These potential additions to our classrooms are all very exciting and with your help, they can become a reality.

Since 1996, our annual Blue & Gold has been successful at providing funds for various educational enhancements including the computer lab, the science lab and now Chromebooks. So when you purchase tickets for this event not only can we guarantee you a night out for food, fellowship, & fun; but also the satisfaction of knowing you have supported every student of this school in being amply prepared for their higher education and beyond.

In regards to sponsorship, our goal is to raise $15,000 to completely underwrite this event. So all proceeds received from tickets and auctions can go toward the technology initiative goals.

Blue & Gold 2020: 1940s Swing! will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020, in our newly renovated school gymnasium and will feature a LIVE Big Band, dancing, strolling dinner and top shelf bar as well as a reverse raffle, and both silent and live auctions.
