Organizations

Altar & Rosary Society

The Altar and Rosary Society is a women’s organization that meet once a month from September to June. They have many functions within the group which together provides for the Church. The fundraising events are: Card party, Bake sales, and Christmas Raffle. Altar and Rosary members organize and take care of the funeral dinners, prayer line, sacristans, condiments for the parish picnic, flowers for the church and chapel. Altar and Rosary Society provides the candles, baptismal bibs, breads, wine, linens, altar cloths, altar servers clothing, priest vestments and anything that is needed for the church and chapel.

Blue & Gold Gala

The Blue and Gold Gala is annual fundraising event that takes place in February. Every year the committee organizes a different theme. It is a fun filled event and all the proceeds return to the school. If fundraising is your specialty then please contact the committee and have some fun!

Gift Card Program

Gift Cards are sold on most Sundays after Masses at the church.  New participants are always welcome. Gift Card sales support the Parish and the buyer recieves an annual rebate as well.

Grounds Keeping

Here at St. Joseph’s we enjoy our parishioner’s green thumbs.  As we all know, keeping our gardens looking good takes a lot of work.  There is weeding and planting that takes much of the warmer months.

Knights of Columbus #2362

The Knights of Columbus is a fraternal organization of men founded in the principles of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. They offer an opportunity for fellowship with people who share the same beliefs and who recognize the same duty to God, to family, and to folks down the block and across the sea.

Parish Pastoral Council

The Parish Pastoral Council is a consultative body which unites laity and clergy in a community of prayer, leadership, service and pastoral planning, All councilors work together as they seek to listen to the Holy Spirit in discerning what is best for the Parish in the light of the Gospel, the Church’s teaching, and the experiences and needs of the parishioners and the surrounding community.  The Council can fulfill its role by encouraging a climate in which the people feel free to speak the truth with openness and love.

Queen of Angels Bookstore

This religious goods store is located in the basement of the Church and is open after all Masses on Sunday. Queen of Angels has a large arrangements of religious items. If you like retail, call Lisa to see when you can volunteer!

Scouts

The Scouts are a value-based youth organization. Here at St. Joseph we have a strong Scouting group. If your child has an interested in scouts, please contact: Jim: 330-928-5015 or jnichol2@neo.rr.com

 

Seton's

Our Seton’s are women and men over the age of 50 whom gather for Mass once a month. After Mass they will enjoy a meal together and have great fellowship.
