The St. Joseph Home and School Association (HASA) is a service organization made up of dedicated family members who offer their time and talent in the service of the staff and students of St. Joseph Parish School. The organization conducts fundraising and sponsors activities for Parish and School families as well as our teachers and staff throughout the year. HASA meets as needed and is made up of a Board, including a President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer and Committee members. Below is a description of each committee:

 

Family Activities Coordinator — Coordinates activities for the Parish and School school during the year.

Hospitality Committee — Provides or serves refreshments for various Parish and School functions throughout the year.

Restaurant Give Back Coordinator — Organizes and executes give back events.

Retailer Give Back Coordinator — Organizes and executes retailer give back programs (Box Tops, ACME Cash Back, Apples for Students)

Sunshine Committee — Sends greeting cards to families, faculty, and staff when appropriate.

Uniform Exchange — Collects, sorts and folds uniforms and maintains the exchange which is open year-round.

Volunteer Coordinator — Coordinates the volunteers necessary for various Parish and School activities and functions.

Ways and Means Coordinator — Directs fundraising opportunities

 

HASA participates and/or sponsors many activities that benefit the school and church.

  • Family Activities: Family Movie Night, Glow Party, Ice Skating Party, and Roller Skating Party
  • Room Parent activities
  • Catholic Schools Week support
  • Retailer Give Back Programs — Box Tops for Education, Apples for Students, ACME Community Cash Back
  • Restaurant Give Back Programs
  • JOCO Blooms Fundraiser
  • Fall Fun Run Annual 5k
  • Calendar Sales
