Service Program

Service Program for Middle and High School Students
This program is approved to fulfill service hours for Archbishop Hoban, St. Vincent-St. Mary, Our Lady of the Elms, and Walsh Jesuit High Schools.
St. Joseph Parish sponsors a service program that provides an opportunity for our Middle and High School students to directly interact with and work alongside the poor, marginalized, and vulnerable. Over the course of the summer and school year, students will visit and work at different sites while connecting with people of different backgrounds. They will also be able to gain insight and appreciation for the work that it takes to plan and implement a service program as they create their own service project.
Program is open to:
- Confirmation Candidates of St. Joseph Parish (some dates are already incorporated into the preparation schedule)
- Students in 7-12 Grade of St. Joseph Parish
- Students in 9-12 Grade from area high schools needing service hours
