Knights of Columbus

The Knights of Columbus (KOC) council 2362 is a men’s organization that serves St. Joseph Parish, St. Eugene Catholic Church and Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish. The KOC were founded on the principles of charity, unity, and fraternity. To that end we strive to host events at St. Joseph Parish that promote our top five priorities: Faith, Family, Community, Pro-Life, and Membership. We host activities such as - Caravan trip to the Columbus March for Life, Summer Akron Pops Concert, Advent Akron Pops Concert, Council Golf Outing, Disaster Preparedness Training, Winter Boots Drive for the Homeless, Winter Coat Drive, Family Prayer Night, monthly Bible Studies, monthly Group Rosary Prayer meetings, St. Eugene’s Steak Dinner, Family Movie Night and the Catholic Student Scholarship. Additionally, we have provided volunteers for numerous other activities such as sponsoring Lenten Suppers, providing breakfast at the annual St. Joseph Service Day, providing and serving hot dogs at the St. Joseph Parish Chili Cook Off, providing food and refreshments for the Youth Summer Bible Camp and Trunk or Treat. One of our missions is to bring financial aid and assistance to the sick, disabled, and needy KOC members and their families through our insurance product.

The KOC have one formal monthly member meeting but have numerous activities and programs throughout the month. Members can participate in the formal member meetings, programs and activities as frequently or as infrequently as they like. Most of the KOC activities and programs are available to all parishioners of all three parishes even if they are not members.
